Steps towards opening a BJO Franchise

 

1. Fill out a short online franchise request form.

2. Franchise candidate will receive by email a confidential application and information packet.

3. The candidate returns the completed application to the Beef Jerky Outlets corporate office via email or fax where a franchise development representative reviews application.

4. The candidate will then receive our current Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and questionnaire to be completed by the franchise applicant. A background check and credit history report will be obtained by Beef Jerky Outlets corporate office and reviewed.

5. A franchise review committee member will notify the candidate that they are approved or denied.

6. A franchise agreement is sent to the approved candidate to be signed and the franchise fees are paid.  Password to owner’s section of the Beef Jerky Outlet website is provided to franchisee.

7. The approved franchisee attends a one on one orientation class in Sevierville, TN or Dundee, MI.

8. All potential sites are submitted by the franchisee to The Beef Jerky Outlet for approval. Pre approved sites may also be available in various locations across the United States.

9. The Beef Jerky Outlet Corporate team does an initial store layout. You follow the process that we have prepared for your build out / new unit construction.

10. Franchisee team attends in-depth training at one of our training stores.

11. Final inspection (minimum 3 days prior to opening).
